Our training is an opportunity to expand your historical and genealogical knowledge. We will help you solve Polish ancestry research problems that do not allow you to move on with your search. Specialists, historians, archivists from Twoje Korzenie w Polsce Foundation and guests invited by them will show you how to reach interesting historical sources that will shed new light on the history of your Polish ancestors.

During the webinars you will get to know the following:

• non metrical genealogy sources for Polish ancestry research
• how to use the Polish State Archives resources,
• how to use the Polish resources of foreign archives,
• how to conduct a library and press query in Poland,
• where to look for photos of our ancestors,
• how to cope with translation of Polish historical documents,
• advanced Polish genealogy databases that allow you to search without moving from home,
• where to look for information about Polish soldiers – military documentation,
• how to search for noble roots,
• how to search for information about the fate of people during and after World War II,
• how to look for ancestors abroad.

During the entire series of workshops, you will receive tools and specialist knowledge on how to effectively conduct genealogical research.

We have also planned a unique space for discussion. Through a videoconference, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts, dispel doubts and ask direct questions to the lecturer.

And if you want to return to a given piece of knowledge or exercise, you can always do it thanks to access to an online workshop recording.
